This two day tour is perfect to browse the two most important medieval Saxon cities of Transylvania: Sighișoara and Sibiu with departure from Brasov and arrival at the same place. The beautiful citadels and fortified churchies from the route, some of them in the UNESCO heritage, like Viscri and Biertan fortified church can be visited, without being in a hurry.

On the first day we will visit: Rupea peasant citadel, Viscri village and the fortified church (UNESCO), the medieval historical center of Sighișoara (UNESCO), the fortified church from Biertan (UNESCO) and optionally, the fortified church from Axente Sever. We will stay over night at Sibiu.

The second day we will visit: the medieval historical center of Sibiu, and on the way back to Brașov: the ruins of the Cistercian Abbey Cârța – unique in Romania, Făgăraș citadel, Ohaba water mill – the oldest still working water mill from Făgăraș county (1873), Șinca Veche orthodox underground church and, before reaching Brașov, optionally, Codlea fortified church.
